Newest Technical Training Center Opened By Gulfstream
Gulfstream not only manufactures the latest in executive aircraft but they also provide the service support as well as training for its specialized workforce. To this end, the company has been building out its Technical Training Centers (TTC). Earlier this month the airframer announced that it had opened its latest TTC in Mesa, Arizona which represents its second facility. The first was the one at its headquarters campus in Savannah.

The new TTC offers more than 10,000 square feet of classroom and lab space for hands-on training from Gulfstream instructors. The facility will house a Gulfstream G650 fuselage segment and empennage assembly, a G700 engine, a G600 simulator and a G200 aircraft. This allows its relevant workforce to work on a myriad of Gulfstream's product offering from midsize up to widebody components.

The Mesa training facility complements the all-new maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility that officially opened at Mesa Gateway Airport earlier this year. The MRO has already brought more than 300 jobs to the region, and Gulfstream is actively hiring more team members, many of whom will be onboarded and trained at the new TTC.
